Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Surveyor to handle surveying and setting-out activities at project sites in Jhansi. The candidate will be responsible for accurate measurements, levels, coordinates, alignment, and layout of construction works as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct land, topographical, construction, and site surveys as required.
- Operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/DGPS and other modern surveying instruments.
- Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points, control points, grid lines, and coordinates.
- Carry out accurate setting-out/layout work for foundations, columns, walls, roads, utilities, and other construction activities.
- Transfer levels, coordinates, and dimensions from approved drawings to the site.
- Check levels, alignment, dimensions, elevations, and coordinates during construction.
- Conduct as-built surveys and record actual site conditions.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and site drawings.
- Identify discrepancies between site measurements and approved drawings and report them to the concerned engineer.
- Prepare and maintain survey reports, field notes, measurement records, and survey data.
- Download and process Total Station data and prepare survey outputs using AutoCAD or relevant software.
- Assist in earthwork, quantity measurements, area calculations, and level verification wherever required.




- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Civil Engineers, Contractors, and other project team members.
- Ensure proper maintenance, handling, and calibration checks of surveying equipment.
- Maintain accuracy and quality of all survey work and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, building, or land surveying.
- Strong hands-on experience with Total Station and Auto Level is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and survey-data processing.
- Positive understanding of levels, coordinates, benchmarks, traversing, alignment, and setting-out procedures.
- Ability to understand and work from civil, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Good mathematical and measurement skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to independently handle site surveying and coordinate with the project team.
- Candidates with experience in building, township, road, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
