Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and technically competent Accessory Technician to join our four-wheeler automobile dealership in Kollam, Kerala.

The Accessory Technician will be responsible for the proper installation, wiring, fitting, testing, and maintenance of various vehicle accessories while ensuring high-quality workmanship and avoiding any damage to the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and fit various accessories in four-wheelers according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Handle installation of accessories such as:
- Reverse cameras and sensors
- Android/infotainment systems
- Speakers and audio systems
- Central locking systems
- LED lights and other lighting accessories
- GPS and tracking devices
- Seat covers and floor mats
- Body accessories and styling products
- Dash cameras
- Horns and other electrical accessories
- Other approved vehicle accessories
- Perform electrical wiring and connections safely and professionally.
- Ensure proper fitting, alignment, finishing, and functioning of all installed accessories.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical or accessory-related issues.
- Conduct testing after installation to ensure all accessories are working correctly.
- Follow proper wiring practices and ensure there are no loose connections, short circuits, or unnecessary modifications.
- Take care to prevent scratches, damage, or other issues to the vehicle during installation.
- Coordinate with the Service and Sales teams for accessory requirements and vehicle delivery schedules.
- Complete accessory installation within the committed delivery timeline.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the accessory installation work area properly.




- Follow dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Report any technical issues, damaged parts, or installation concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper records of accessory installations and work completed.
- Support pre-delivery accessory fitment and ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of four-wheeler accessories and automotive electrical systems.
- Practical experience in accessory installation and vehicle wiring.
- Ability to use basic automotive tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently within delivery deadlines.
- Knowledge of protected wiring and installation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good discipline and responsibility toward customer vehicles.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Automobile Electrical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in four-wheeler accessory fitting/installation is preferred.
- Experience in an authorized automobile dealership, workshop, or accessory installation centre will be an advantage.
- Candidates with strong practical knowledge and relevant automobile electrical experience may also be considered.

Pay: Up to ₹23,000.00 per month

Experience:
