Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Asisstant Manager to drive sales and business development for gear motors, gearboxes, and power transmission solutions across industrial and manufacturing customers.

The candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, building strong customer relationships, identifying application requirements, and achieving sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies for gear motors, gearboxes, and related power transmission products.
- Identify and develop new customers across industrial and manufacturing sectors.
- Manage existing customer accounts and increase business through repeat orders and cross-selling.
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable gearbox / gear motor solutions.
- Generate enquiries through customer visits, channel partners, references, exhibitions, and market development activities.
- Prepare commercial offers, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and close orders.
- Build relationships with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, purchase,



and service teams to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
- Track enquiries, quotations, order status, sales pipeline, and collections.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify competitors, pricing trends, recent applications, and business opportunities.
- Develop and manage distributors / dealers where applicable.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM / sales reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate with technical/service teams for resolution.
- Participate in exhibitions, technical seminars, customer meetings, and other business-development activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- 4-8 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably in gearboxes, gear motors, motors, drives, power transmission, industrial automation, or related engineering products.
- Strong understanding of gearbox and gear motor applications.
- Engineering qualification, preferably Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering, is desirable.
