Job Title: Deputy Vice President - Supply Chain

Reporting To: Head - Supply Chain

Location: Kolkata

Job Objective

Responsible for managing the supply chain for raw Materials procurement of product lines - Solar Module and Solar Cell while developing long term relationship with the suppliers and ensuring timely availability of material for production at the most optimum total cost of ownership

Responsibilities

Supply Chain Planning and operations cost optimization

- Develop supply chain strategy for efficient procurement of raw materials.
- Ensuring adherence and compliance with procurement processes in a transparent manner.
- Cost Reduction and process improvement in ongoing requirement through vendor development, localisation of materials.

Purchase

- Manage purchase of raw materials as per approved construction data form and customer requirement ensuring optimum total cost of ownership.

Vendor Management





- Identify the most suitable vendors for procuring raw materials and ensure timely delivery of materials at the best quality.
- Maintain relationship with the vendors for procuring raw materials & ensure positive, reliable sources of supply and information about the market practices.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors.

People Development

- Ensure a highly motivated and engaged work force by regular interaction within the team through continuous guiding and mentoring

Education

Essential: Engineering Graduate

Preferred: PG in Supply Chain management or similar degree

Experience: 17-22 years of experience in managing end-to-end supply chain in manufacturing organisations.

Preferred: 10 years of experience in Solar manufacturing
