Position: GCP Presales / Solution Engineer

About the Role-

We are looking for a GCP Presales professional who will work closely with the Sales and Technical teams to understand customer requirements, design relevant Google Cloud solutions, prepare proposals, and support the sales team in converting opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, cloud infrastructure, migration, modernization and data/AI solutions, along with good customer-facing and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities-

- Work closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and identify appropriate GCP solutions.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, requirement gathering and solution workshops with customers.
- Design and architect solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Prepare solution proposals, presentations, BoQs and cost estimates.
- Develop solution architectures for cloud migration, modernization, infrastructure transformation and managed services.
- Support customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs.
- Work on POCs and technical validations wherever required.
- Provide technical support during the complete sales cycle, from opportunity qualification to closure.
- Collaborate with Google Cloud, internal delivery teams and technology partners to develop solutions.




- Identify opportunities for GCP upsell, cross-sell and new cloud adoption.
- Translate technical solutions into clear business value, ROI and TCO benefits for customers.
- Keep updated with new GCP products, services and emerging areas such as Generative AI, Gemini, Vertex AI and Data & Analytics.

- Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

VPC & Cloud Networking

Cloud Load Balancing

IAM & Security

Cloud SQL / databases

Cloud Monitoring & Logging

BigQuery

- Understanding of cloud migration and modernization concepts.
- Knowledge of Terraform, CI/CD and DevOps will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Vertex AI, Gemini/GenAI and Google Cloud Data & Analytics will be preferred.
- Ability to perform basic cloud sizing, estimation and TCO/cost analysis.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 3-5 years of overall experience, preferably with 2+ years in GCP Presales / Cloud Presales / Solution Engineering.
- Experience working with IT Services, System Integrators, Cloud Partners or Technology Resellers will be preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science/IT.
- Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer or Qualified Cloud Architect will be an added advantage.
