Position- Billing Engineer Civil

PMC Experience- 8–10 Years
Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering – Mandatory Preferred Experience Candidates with prior experience in Data Center / Mission Critical projects will be strongly preferred.
Reporting To(Project Team) - Project Director / CSA Lead Role Summary The Billing Engineer – Civil will be responsible for measurement, quantity verification, billing review and certification of civil and architectural works executed by contractors for the Data Center project. The candidate will work closely with the CSA team, Planning Lead, Project Director, contractors and commercial team to ensure accurate measurement and billing in accordance with approved BOQs, drawings, specifications and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities
1. Billing & Measurement
• Review and verify contractor RA Bills, interim bills and final bills for Civil and Architectural works.
• Verify quantities against approved BOQ, drawings, specifications and actual site execution.
• Carry out and verify joint measurements with contractors and site teams.
• Ensure billed quantities correspond to physically completed and approved works.
• Check applicable deductions, recoveries, retention, advances and other contractual adjustments.
• Verify supporting documents required for bill certification.
2. Quantity & BOQ Management
• Maintain BOQ versus Executed Quantity records.
• Monitor quantities against approved BOQ limits. • Identify quantity variations, deviations and additional works.
3. Civil & Architectural Works Verify measurements and billing for works including:
• Reinforcement steel
• Shuttering/formwork
4. Site Coordination
• Coordinate with CSA Leads and Engineers for measurement verification.
• Verify completed works against approved drawings and specifications. • Ensure measurements are supported by relevant inspection records and approvals.
• Coordinate with the Planning Lead to correlate physical progress with billed quantities.
• Highlight discrepancies between contractor claims and actual site progress.
5. Contract & Commercial Coordination
• Review contractual provisions related to measurement and payment. • Verify contractor claims in accordance with contract conditions.
6. Reporting Prepare and maintain:
• Monthly billing statements
• Measurement sheets
• BOQ reconciliation
• Hands-on experience in RA bill preparation/review and certification. • Valuable understanding of BOQs, specifications and construction drawings. • Strong coordination skills with contractors and project teams. Data Center / Mission Critical Experience Prior experience in Data Center / Mission Critical projects will be strongly preferred. Candidates having experience in large-scale Data Center projects involving phased construction, complex civil/architectural works and multidisciplinary coordination will be preferred.
