Responsibilities

- Lead warehousing, transportation, distribution, import and export activities.
- Manage third-party warehouses, freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics providers.
- Drive logistics process standardisation and continuous improvement.
- Manage external warehouse operations, inventory movements and audits.
- Ensure compliance with customs, trade and transportation regulations.
- Lead freight procurement, sourcing and vendor performance reviews.
- Own the 3-month rolling demand and supply planning process.
- Convert demand forecasts into executable supply plans.
- Review and align production plan with manufacturing teams.
- Monitor inventory health and stock coverage.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability.
- Support SIOP and S&OE; processes.
- Ensure customer order fulfilment and service performance.
- Support customer complaint resolution and audit activities.

Decision making

Typically, you have the authority to make decisions related to:

- Design and optimisation of the warehouse and road logistics network, driving efficiency, service performance, and cost improvements.
- Decide on India site scheduling priority and master planning.
- Freight prioritisation and expedite spend, balancing customer requirements, service levels, and cost impact.
- Operational and service trade-offs, ensuring optimal revenue execution while maintaining customer satisfaction.

In addition, you act as a subject matter expert for warehouse and road logistics,



influencing decisions across functions and providing guidance to internal stakeholders.

- Solid knowledge of international freight, customs, and trade compliance frameworks.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in supply planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and SIOP/S&OE; processes.
- Valuable commercial awareness, with the ability to balance cost, service, and risk considerations.
- Strong stakeholder management and supplier relationship skills.
