Job Purpose

The role is responsible for handling endtoend corporate accounting and tax compliance activities, including daytoday bookkeeping, reconciliations, statutory filings, and audit support. The position requires a handson accounting qualified with strong knowledge of Indian taxation and the ability to manage deliverables accurately within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including daily accounting entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Manage endtoend bookkeeping using accounting software (primarily Tally)
- Perform bank reconciliations and review supporting financial documents
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, receivable tracking, and aging analysis
- Assist in preparation of financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS, as applicable)




- Manage tax compliance activities including preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and tax consultants for audits, assessments, and filings
- Prepare documentation for tax assessments and respond to notices from tax authorities
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and timelines to prevent errors and compliance gaps

Key Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting and tax compliance
- Strong handson experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
- Working knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
- Practical experience using Tally (mandatory); exposure to other accounting systems is an advantage
- Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external consultants
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
