Job Title: Lead Business System Analyst (P&C; Insurance)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Business System Analyst with strong P&C; Insurance domain expertise and hands-on SQL skills. The ideal candidate should possess a balanced Techno-Functional Business Analyst profile, capable of independently driving requirements gathering, data analysis, stakeholder management, and solution design activities.

The candidate will play a key role in the organization's Enterprise Data Platform and Analytics initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
- Perform data analysis and develop SQL queries to support business requirements and validation.
- Define and document data mappings, data lineage, and business rules.
- Conduct workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and stakeholder discussions.




- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product Management, and QA teams.
- Support UAT, testing activities, and requirements validation.
- Work independently and drive BA activities with minimal supervision.

Mandatory Skills

- 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- Strong experience in P&C; Insurance (Property & Casualty Insurance).

- Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills with hands-on query writing and data analysis experience.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Snowflake, Data Warehouse, or Enterprise Data Platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Lineage and Data Mapping.
- Experience with JIRA or similar Agile tools.
- London Market Insurance experience (Nice to Have).
