Position Summary:
The role is responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that strengthen the companys market position, build brand awareness, create demand, and support business growth.
The role works closely with business and practice leaders to understand their priorities and translate them into practical marketing plans, campaigns, content, and market-facing initiatives.
The position requires a combination of marketing planning, stakeholder management, and hands-on execution, with the ability to manage initiatives from planning through delivery and measurement.
The individual will work across areas such as positioning and messaging, content, campaigns, digital marketing, events, thought leadership, and sales enablement, depending on business priorities.
Functional Requirements
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, preferably within the technology, IT services, consulting or digital services environment.
- Ability to understand technology and business propositions and translate them into clear and relevant positioning, messaging and marketing content.
- Good strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to identify marketing opportunities and develop practical approaches to address them.
- Ability to work effectively with business, practice and functional stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate marketing programs.
- Understanding of integrated marketing across areas such as brand, content, digital, campaigns, events, thought leadership and sales enablement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear marketing narratives and communicate recommendations effectively.
- Good stakeholder-management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with subject-matter experts and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously and prioritize activities based on business needs.
- Commercial orientation and an understanding of how marketing activities can contribute to awareness, engagement, demand generation, client relationships and business growth.
- Ability to use marketing performance data and market insights to assess effectiveness and improve programs.
- Robust ownership and ability to work independently, while collaborating effectively with relevant stakeholders and teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with business, practice and organizational priorities.
- Work with business and practice leaders to understand their objectives and identify relevant marketing opportunities.
- Develop positioning, messaging and go-to-market narratives for services, capabilities, industries and business priorities.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across relevant channels, including content, digital, events, thought leadership and sales enablement.
- Develop and coordinate marketing content and thought-leadership initiatives that communicate the organization's capabilities and areas of expertise.
- Work with subject-matter experts, technology leaders, sales teams, content teams, creative teams and other stakeholders to develop market-facing materials.
- Translate complex technology, business and industry concepts into clear and compelling marketing communications.
- Support demand-generation and client-engagement initiatives through targeted campaigns, events, workshops and other marketing activities.
- Support sales teams with relevant marketing materials, messaging, presentations, case studies and other enablement assets.
- Support analyst relations and other external market-engagement activities as required.
- Develop marketing plans, priorities and budgets based on business objectives, audience needs and available resources.
- Coordinate execution across internal teams and external partners or agencies where applicable.
- Track relevant marketing metrics and use performance insights to improve campaigns and programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing marketing processes, approaches and reusable assets.
- Develop frameworks, templates and marketing assets that can be leveraged across business and practice teams where appropriate.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, industry and market trends and identify potential marketing opportunities.
- Manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while ensuring timely delivery of agreed marketing initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT services B2B marketing at mid to senior level positions.
- Experience developing and executing marketing plans and programs in partnership with business, practice or sales stakeholders.
- Experience across multiple areas of B2B marketing, including positioning and messaging, content, campaigns, digital marketing, events, thought leadership and sales enablement.
- Experience independently managing marketing initiatives from planning through execution and measurement.
- Experience working with senior business leaders, subject-matter experts and cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of the technology services landscape and the ability to quickly understand complex technology propositions.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Good stakeholder-management, organizational and project-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- MBA in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
