We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented IVR Medical Coder to join our US Healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of medical coding, insurance processes, and healthcare terminology, with the ability to accurately review and code patient information.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding for interventional radiology procedures (angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainages, vascular access, etc.)
- Apply correct modifiers (26/TC, 59/XS/XU, LT/RT/50) per NCCI and MUE guidelines
- Review physician documentation for completeness; generate coding queries where needed
- Ensure compliance with CMS, AMA, and payer-specific coding guidelines
- Work closely with billing team to resolve denials (CO151, CO50, CO97, etc.) and support appeals
- Stay current with annual CPT/ICD-10 updates relevant to IVR





Required Qualifications

- CPC/CIC/CCS certification (AAPC or AHIMA) mandatory
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Interventional Radiology coding
- Strong knowledge of NCCI edits, bundling rules, and IVR-specific modifier logic
- Familiarity with EHR/coding platforms (e.g., 3M, EPIC, Cerner mention as applicable)
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation review skills

Preferred (Good to Have)

- Experience with radiology/cardiology cross-specialty coding
- Prior denial management/audit exposure
- Knowledge of MUE and bilateral billing scenarios
