About the Role:
The Steward plays a key role in ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by assisting in the setup and service of food and beverages. They work closely with the Sr. Steward and Captain to maintain service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up tables and preparing dining areas.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Ensure that the service area is clean and well-maintained.
- Follow the Captains instructions to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in clearing tables and resetting for the next guests.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Support in training junior stewards.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Captain
Direct Reports: Captain/Sr. Steward
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Hospitality management degree or equivalent is a MUST.
- Freshers are also welcome for Steward roles only
- 1 –5 years of experience in a Steward/Senior Steward role.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-driven approach.
- Versatile to work in shifts, weekends, and high-pressure peak hours.
