Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Asset Executive to manage the complete lifecycle of the organization's hardware and software assets. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring CMDB and inventory accuracy, managing software licenses, coordinating procurement and vendors, and ensuring compliance with ITAM and ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete IT asset lifecycle from procurement, tagging and deployment through refresh, transfer, retirement and disposal.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, mobile devices, peripherals and software.
- Maintain and improve CMDB and ITAM data accuracy.
- Perform periodic physical and system-based asset audits and reconciliation.
- Track asset ownership, location, status, warranty and support contracts.
- Manage software licenses, entitlements, renewals and compliance.
- Identify underutilized software and hardware and recommend cost optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, IT Support, Information Security and vendors.
- Manage hardware procurement, warranty claims, repairs, replacements and vendor escalations.
- Prepare IT asset reports, dashboards and KPI metrics for management.
- Support internal and external IT audits.
- Ensure compliance with organizational ITAM policies and ITIL processes.
- Maintain asset documentation,



procedures and governance standards.
- Support employee onboarding/offboarding asset allocation and recovery.
- Ensure timely recovery and secure disposal of assets from separated employees.
- Work with Service Desk and infrastructure teams to maintain accurate asset-to-user and CI relationships.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management / IT Infrastructure / IT Operations.
- Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB or similar ITSM tools.
- Good understanding of asset lifecycle management and inventory reconciliation.
- Knowledge of software licensing, contracts and compliance.
- Experience with IT audits and vendor management.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong Excel/reporting and data-analysis skills.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- ServiceNow HAM/SAM experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and reconciliation.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune/SCCM or other endpoint-management tools.
- ITAM certification such as IAITAM/CHAMP/CSAM is an advantage.
