We are looking for an experienced Head Maintenance for a leading automotive component manufacturing company based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage overall machine maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
- Plan and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Drive improvement in machine uptime and OEE.
- Analyse recurring breakdowns and implement root cause and corrective actions.
- Ensure availability of critical spares, tools and maintenance resources.
- Drive TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs including MTTR, MTBF, downtime and maintenance cost.
- Manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee plant utilities including compressors, chillers, DG sets and electrical panels.
- Lead installation, commissioning, relocation and validation of new machines.
- Develop and manage the maintenance team, including training and skill development.




- Ensure compliance with Safety, EHS, IATF and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, PPC, OEMs and external service providers.

Key Skills / Experience

- Strong experience in Injection Moulding machine maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic and Electronics troubleshooting.
- Experience in Preventive, Predictive & TPM Maintenance.
- Strong breakdown analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Energy Management and Utility Maintenance.
- Exposure to IATF and EHS requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in machine installation, commissioning and maintenance projects.
- Good knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, OEE and maintenance cost management.

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics
