Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IoT/IIoT Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, and supporting IoT solutions. The candidate should have solid expertise in IoT architecture, MQTT, device connectivity, edge computing, industrial protocols, cloud platforms, APIs, and real-time data processing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and integrate Industrial IoT / OT solutions for edge environments.
- Work on IIoT data models and synchronization services for industrial/edge applications.
- Develop and maintain microservices / backend services using .NET / C#.
- Implement MQTT-based communication between OT devices, edge applications and enterprise systems.
- Work with Kafka for telemetry, event and log publishing/streaming.
- Deploy and manage OT/IIoT modules on AWS EKS / Kubernetes-based Edge environments.
- Support containerized application deployment, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with OT, engineering, QA and infrastructure teams for UAT, production deployment and launch support.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, application, networking and data-flow issues in Edge environments.
- Support certificate management, TLS/security and networking requirements.
- Participate in system integration, testing, deployment and production support.
- Ensure reliable data flow from OT/industrial systems Edge enterprise/cloud platforms.

- AWS IoT / Edge services
- Kafka / event-driven architecture
- CI/CD
- Linux
- TLS, SSL, PKI and certificate management
- Experience working with manufacturing / industrial environments

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Senior IIoT/OT Engineer, rather than a pure AWS or .NET developer. The strongest candidates will have experience connecting industrial/OT systems with Edge applications, working with MQTT and Kafka, and deploying applications on Kubernetes/EKS Edge environments. Comparable IIoT roles emphasize exactly this combination of OT connectivity, MQTT, Kubernetes and edge deployment.
