Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PPQM Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM). The candidate will be responsible for SAP PP/QM implementation, configuration, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of end-to-end production planning, shop-floor processes, quality inspection, quality planning, and quality control, along with good integration knowledge across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP PP/QM solutions.
- Configure and support SAP Production Planning (PP) processes.
- Configure and support SAP Quality Management (QM) processes.
- Handle end-to-end production planning processes including:
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Demand Management
- Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
- Production Orders
- Planned Orders
- Work Centers
- Routings
- Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Production Versions
- Capacity Planning
- Order Confirmation
- Goods Movement
- Production Order Settlement

- Configure and support SAP QM processes including:

- Quality Planning
- Inspection Planning
- Inspection Characteristics
- Inspection Methods
- Inspection Lots
- Results Recording
- Usage Decision
- Quality Notifications
- Defect Recording
- Quality Certificates

- Configure different inspection types and inspection processes for procurement, production, and customer-related scenarios.
- Work on integration between SAP PP/QM and MM, SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, and other relevant modules.
- Support production and quality-related business processes and resolve functional issues.
- Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.




- Perform root-cause analysis for complex production and quality issues.
- Coordinate with business users, process owners, technical teams, and other SAP functional consultants.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scenarios, test scripts, process flows, and training materials.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior consultants.
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

- Robust hands-on experience in SAP QM configuration.
- Good understanding of quality management processes throughout the supply chain and manufacturing lifecycle.

- SAP MM Procurement, goods receipt, material movements, batch management.
- SAP FI/CO Accounting documents, production order costing, settlement.
- SAP SD Sales order, delivery, customer complaints, quality-related processes.
- SAP WM/EWM – Warehouse and inventory processes.
- Understanding of master-data dependencies across PP, QM, and other SAP modules.
