Role Sr. Looker Developer

Mandatory Technical Skills 1) 6-10 years of experience in BI/Data Analytics/Analytics Engineering using

Looker

2) Strong expertise in Looker (LookML development, Explores, dashboards)

3) Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions,

performance tuning)

4) Deep understanding of data modeling (dimensional modeling

star/snowflake)

5) Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift,

Azure Synapse)

6) Hands-on experience with Git/version control workflows.

Responsibilities 1) Develop, maintain, and optimize LookML data models in Looker

2) Design interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports

3) Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements

4) Write effective SQL queries for data extraction and transformation

5) Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports

6) Implement data security and access controls in Looker

7) Monitor dashboard performance and optimize queries

8) Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues

9) Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders
