Who You Are:
This position will be WFO/Hybrid, but you will be working closely with the United States and Canada teams through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and our software. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. Job Summary:

The Head of Finance will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the company. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to support the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

- Lead finance and accounting operations for India and U.S. entities.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Ensure accurate preparation and review of P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and management reports.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls and accounting processes.
- Provide timely financial analysis and insights to senior leadership.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and overall financial health.

India Accounting & Compliance

- Oversee Indian accounting operations,



including bookkeeping, GST, TDS, payroll accounting, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers, and other external partners.
- Review and approve statutory filings and financial statements.

U.S. Accounting & Compliance

- Oversee accounting for U.S. entities and ensure accurate U.S. GAAP-based reporting where applicable.
- Manage U.S. accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Coordinate with U.S. CPAs, tax advisors, auditors, and other external service providers.
- Support federal and state tax compliance and reporting.
- Ensure appropriate intercompany accounting between U.S. and Indian entities.

Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Develop financial models and cash-flow forecasts.
- Track actual performance against budgets and investigate significant variances.
- Provide management with financial insights to support business decisions.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor business and financial performance.

Treasury & Cash Management

- Monitor cash balances and liquidity across India and U.S. entities.
- Oversee banking relationships and payment processes.
- Establish appropriate approval of controls for payments and expenses.
- Monitor foreign currency transactions and intercompany fund movements.

Audit & Internal Controls

- Manage internal and external audit processes.
- Strengthen financial controls, policies, and approval of workflows.
- Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate controls.
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the finance/accounting team.
- Establish clear responsibilities, processes, and performance expectations.
- Review the quality and accuracy of work produced by internal and external accounting teams.




- Build scalable finance processes as the company grows.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership & Governance: Establish company-wide financial vision, build robust internal controls, and implement governance models that protect corporate assets and drive scalable growth.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale the finance and accounting team; cultivate a culture of analytical rigor, accuracy, and continuous operational improvement.
- Financial Reporting & Insights: Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (US GAAP) to executive leadership; convert complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- FP&A; & Capital Optimization: Direct annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses; optimize working capital, cash flow, and resource allocation across North American operations.
- Taxation, Audit & Compliance: Partner with external advisors to optimize US tax strategy, ensure strict global regulatory compliance, and lead to annual financial audits.
- ERP Transformation: Manage end-to-end implementation and migration from QuickBooks Online to Microsoft Business Central, including data conversion, reporting architecture, and user adoption.

Qualifications:

- CA or master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 18-20 years of experience in Finance.
- Proven experience in a similar financial management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of US accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
