Support the fund manager in all aspects of portfolio management, including investment research, analysis, and trade execution Monitor fund performance and provide regular reporting to the management team and investors Assist with investor relations activities such as preparing investor communications, coordinating meetings, and addressing investor inquiries Help ensure the fund's compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and fund documents Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls Participate in the preparation of fund financial statements, budgets, and other reporting Collaborate with the operations team to oversee fund administration, including NAV calculation, cash management, and investor transactions Provide general administrative support to the management team as needed
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in the alternative investment industry, preferably in a fund management or operations role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with investors, service providers, and the management team Proficient in financial analysis, modelling, and reporting Familiarity with alternative investment strategies, instruments, and regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace Proficient in using financial software and various computer applications Knowledge of compliance and risk management principles
