We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience to analyze business data, identify trends and patterns, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SQL, Advanced Excel, data analysis, Power BI/Tableau, data visualization, reporting, and Python/Pandas. The role requires the ability to work with large datasets, understand business requirements, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Use Advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data manipulation.
- Use Python/Pandas for data analysis, automation, and handling large datasets where required.
- Work closely with business, technology, and cross-functional teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Prepare regular, automated, and ad-hoc reports for business stakeholders.
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process and business improvement through data analysis.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions, reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform root-cause analysis and investigate data discrepancies or business performance issues.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs and reports.




- Work in an Agile and collaborative environment and follow data analysis and reporting best practices.
- Continuously improve reporting processes, dashboards, analytical methodologies, and data quality.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Data Analysis and Data Interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of Data Visualization and Dashboard Development.
- Experience with Python and Pandas for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in preparing business reports and MIS/analytical reports.
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from datasets.
- Good understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
- Solid communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Technical Exposure

- Database/SQL: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar.
- BI & Visualization: Power BI, Tableau.
- Programming: Python, Pandas.
- Excel: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, advanced formulas, data validation, Power Query.
- Reporting: MIS, business reporting, KPI reporting, dashboard development.
- Exposure to data extraction, transformation, and analytical workflows.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources is an advantage.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 5 to 8 years in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Reporting, MIS Analytics, or a related role.
- Strong practical experience in SQL + Excel + Power BI/Tableau.
- Candidates with exposure to Python/Pandas will be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to independently analyze problems and provide data-backed recommendations.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Willing to work onsite in Bangalore.
