Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Engineering Coordination

- Assist in plant layout planning and overall project coordination.
- Prepare and update plant layouts, equipment layouts, utility layouts, civil/site drawings, and related project drawings under guidance.
- Understand machinery, utility, electrical, instrumentation, and automation requirements.
- Support project schedules, activity tracking, and coordination of technical inputs from stakeholders.

2. Vendor & Techno-Commercial Coordination

- Coordinate with machinery suppliers, utility vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Collect quotations, technical offers, drawings, specifications, and supporting documents.
- Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements for evaluation and approval.
- Follow up for drawings, manufacturing status, dispatch, installation, commissioning, and closure of pending points.

3. Site Execution & Civil Support

- Visit project sites across India as required and support day-to-day execution activities.
- Assist in civil planning and monitor civil, structural, utility, electrical, and equipment installation work.
- Monitor progress, workmanship, and quality against approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal site teams; identify delays, dependencies, and constraints.

4. Installation, Testing & Commissioning

- Support machinery erection, installation, testing, trial runs, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate utility readiness and required mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and civil interfaces.




- Assist vendors and internal teams during performance trials and project handover.
- Maintain punch lists, installation observations, and pending-action trackers through closure.

5. Progress Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare regular project progress reports and site updates.
- Share photographs, observations, completed activities, pending points, risks, and action plans from project sites.
- Maintain drawings, quotations, comparisons, minutes of meeting, schedules, trackers, and technical records.
- Follow up with responsible stakeholders to support timely closure of project actions.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant project or plant engineering experience preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturing plants, project sites, machinery installation, or utilities will be advantageous.

- FMCG, beverages, food processing, or packaging
- Industrial utilities and plant infrastructure
- Automation, process equipment, or manufacturing projects
- Plant expansion, greenfield, or brownfield projects

KEY SKILLS

- Techno-commercial comparison and quotation analysis

- MS Excel, project trackers, and progress reporting
