We are looking for an experienced DataStage Developer with 6-12 years of experience in ETL development, Data Warehousing, and enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in IBM DataStage, SQL, and data processing frameworks.
The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution designers, and development teams to build scalable and high-quality data integration solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data integration solutions using IBM DataStage.
- Build and support ETL batch processing solutions.
- Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows.
- Work on Data Warehousing and data integration projects.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and project teams.
- Support project estimation, planning, and delivery activities.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure development follows quality standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to resolve data-related issues.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 6-12 years of experience in DataStage development.
- Strong expertise in IBM DataStage ETL development.
- Excellent SQL programming skills.
- Robust understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise projects.
- Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting.
- Exposure to CP4D (Cloud Pak for Data) is an added advantage.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain preferred.
