Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented FMCG Content Writer with experience in developing engaging and informative content for consumer products. The candidate will be responsible for researching products, understanding consumer needs, and creating clear, compelling content for various marketing and communication channels.

The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, a good understanding of FMCG products and consumer behaviour, and the ability to convert product information into simple, engaging, and persuasive content.

Key Responsibilities

- Create engaging, informative, and consumer-friendly content for FMCG products.
- Develop content for product descriptions, websites, blogs, brochures, catalogues, social media, advertisements, packaging, and marketing materials .
- Research FMCG products, ingredients, features, benefits, usage instructions, and target consumers.
- Translate technical or product-related information into simple and easy-to-understand language.
- Develop creative content aligned with brand positioning, product objectives, and target audience.
- Write promotional and marketing copy for new product launches, campaigns, offers, and brand communication.
- Review and edit existing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, consistency, and readability.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Brand, Sales, Product, and Design teams to develop effective content.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, terminology, and product information across communication channels.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify relevant content trends and consumer preferences.
- Stay updated with FMCG industry trends, consumer behaviour, digital content trends, and emerging marketing practices.
- Manage multiple content assignments while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication,



Marketing, Advertising, or a related field .
- Minimum 2 years of experience in content writing, preferably within the FMCG, consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or related industry .
- Solid understanding of content creation, copywriting, and consumer-focused communication.
- Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and communication.
- Ability to write content that is clear, engaging, persuasive, and suitable for the target audience .
- Strong research, editing, proofreading, and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to understand product information and communicate key features and benefits effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain content accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple content projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, consumer products, or brand marketing .
- Knowledge of SEO content writing, keyword research, and digital marketing will be an advantage.
- Experience in writing product descriptions, social media content, website content, blogs, and promotional copy .
- Basic understanding of consumer behaviour and brand communication.
- Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing platforms will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted content creation and editing tools will be an added advantage.
- Creative thinking with the ability to develop fresh content ideas and campaign concepts.
