Job Description ERP LN Programmer
The ERP LN Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and maintaining technical customizations, extensions, and integrations within the Infor LN 10.7 ecosystem. This role focuses on optimizing business processes by writing structured code, developing custom reports, building custom sessions, and ensuring seamless data flow between Infor LN and external third-party systems.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Application Development & Customization
- Design and develop custom sessions, tables, and forms in Infor LN 10.7 using LN Studio.
- Implement standard extensions using Customer Defined Fields (CDF) and Additional Information Fields to adapt to shifting business logic.
- Build, customize, and format layouts via the Infor LN Report Designer
and output utilities.
2. Integration & Middleware Support
- Build and manage end-to-end integration flows connecting Infor LN 10.7 with external applications
- Develop and consume APIs using Infor ION (Intelligent Open Network), BODs (Business Object Documents), and REST/SOAP web services.
- Map data schemas and handle integration monitoring via the Infor OS platform.
3. System Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform technical root-cause analysis on system bugs, runtime errors, and performance bottlenecks.
- Coordinate directly with Infor Support and consultants to deploy standard software solutions, patches, and fixes.
- Manage multi-company or multi-site data dictionary alignments, tables, and system tools.
