Key Responsibilities

- Lead welding activities for skid fabrication, pressure piping, structural assemblies, vessels, and modular packages.
- Ensure welding activities are executed in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and applicable codes.
- Manage welding manpower, subcontractors, and shop-floor resources to achieve production targets.
- Monitor welding productivity and implement improvement initiatives.
- Review and approve welding procedures, weld maps, fabrication drawings, and welding sequences.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, API, ISO, PED, and customer-specific requirements.
- Provide technical guidance for material selection, weldability assessments, and welding process optimization.
- Support engineering and QA/QC teams in resolving welding-related technical issues.
- Ensure weld quality meets project specifications and applicable industry standards.
- Monitor weld rejection rates and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, NDT activities, and client audits.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement for welding quality performance.
