SMBT Group of Institutions is looking for a responsible, disciplined, and student-focused Hostel Warden to oversee hostel operations, maintain discipline, and ensure the safety, well-being, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the hostel.

The ideal candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle students and hostel-related situations calmly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain discipline, decorum, and a positive living environment within the hostel.
- Ensure the safety, security, and overall welfare of hostel residents.
- Monitor student attendance, movement, and daily hostel activities.
- Supervise hostel cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and basic facilities.
- Address student complaints, concerns, and grievances and take appropriate action.
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, room allotment, incidents, visitors, and other hostel activities.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor hostel premises to ensure compliance with institutional rules.
- Coordinate with management, faculty, security, housekeeping, maintenance teams, parents, and other departments as required.
- Handle emergencies, medical situations, conflicts,



and disciplinary matters promptly and responsibly.
- Ensure students follow hostel rules, regulations, timings, and institutional policies.
- Report serious incidents, violations, and operational issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Support student welfare initiatives and help create a protected, respectful, and supportive hostel environment.
- Perform other hostel administration duties assigned by the management.

Eligibility

- Education: Any Graduate.
- Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience in hostel administration, student accommodation, educational institutions, or a similar role preferred.
- Candidates with experience handling student discipline, welfare, and residential facilities will be preferred.
