The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Transport Modeller to join our India-based Cities, Design and Planning team. This role will primarily support projects across the Middle East-particularly in the UAE and KSA-while also contributing to projects and initiatives in India. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality transport modelling and analysis, collaborating closely with our Dubai team and wider global Arup network.

As a Senior Transport Modeller, you will lead and deliver complex transport modelling projects, including intermodal planning, public transport strategy assessments, and the development of bespoke modelling tools. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical calculations, drawings, schedules, and cost estimates, while producing high-quality project documentation, reports, and presentations. The role also involves working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams with minimal supervision, supporting project management activities, and mentoring junior team members to ensure successful project delivery.

- Strong expertise in VISUM and CUBE, with additional knowledge of tools such as VISSIM, Aimsun, SIDRA, SYNCHRO, GIS,
