Role - Manager/ Senior Manager - West Africa & Middle East

Role Objective

n

To lead and grow the company's agrochemical business across West Africa and Middle East, with primary responsibility for sales, business development, product registration, distributor management and strategic partnerships.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Develop and execute country-wise business plans to achieve sales, profitability and market-share targets.
n
- Drive new business development through distributors, strategic customers, partnerships and new market opportunities.
n
- Identify opportunities for recent molecules, formulations, combinations and product registrations.
n
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key distributors, importers and strategic customers.
n
- Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, volumes, payment terms and annual business plans.
n
- Develop market intelligence on crops, products, competitors,



pricing and regulatory trends.
n
- Coordinate with regulatory teams/consultants for product registration, renewals and approvals.
n
- Monitor sales pipeline, forecasting, inventory, receivables and profitability.
n
- Explore licensing, collaboration, registration acquisition and strategic partnership opportunities.
n
- Provide regular business reviews, market intelligence and strategic recommendations to management.

Candidate Profile

n

n
- Graduate in Agriculture / Life Sciences, with MBA/PGDM preferred.
n
- 7+ years of experience in agrochemicals/crop protection/agri-inputs.
n
- Strong experience in international business, preferably with exposure to West Africa and/or Middle East markets.
n
- Good understanding of agrochemical registration, distribution and market-development models.
n
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
n
- Willingness to travel extensively across West Africa and Middle East.
