Language Teacher (Primary to Senior Secondary)

Position: Primary, Middle, Secondary & Senior Secondary Language Teacher

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused Language Teacher to teach students from Primary to Senior Secondary levels through engaging and interactive online classes. The teacher will be responsible for developing students' foundational language skills at lower grades while providing advanced language, literature, communication, and examination-oriented instruction at higher grades.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable teaching students from Grades 1–12 across CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and other relevant Indian/international curricula. The teacher should be able to adapt teaching methods according to the student's age, grade level, learning ability, curriculum, and academic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct engaging and interactive one-to-one online language classes for students from Grades 1–12 as per the scheduled timetable.
2. Teach age-appropriate language concepts based on the student's grade, curriculum, and academic requirements.
3. Build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension for primary-grade students.
4. Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, writing, communication, and comprehension skills.
5. Teach advanced grammar, literature, writing, comprehension, and textual analysis to middle, secondary, and senior secondary students.
6. Teach prescribed prose, poetry, stories, drama, fiction, non-fiction, and other literary texts as applicable to the student's curriculum.
7. Develop students' ability to understand, analyse, interpret, and effectively communicate in the target language.
8.



Prepare students for school assessments, examinations, board examinations, and other academic evaluations where applicable.
9. Assign, review, and evaluate homework, worksheets, assignments, writing tasks, and practice questions.
10. Use age-appropriate activities, examples, stories, discussions, conversations, and interactive teaching methods to maintain student engagement.
11. Identify individual learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies to improve student understanding and academic performance.
12. Share relevant study materials, notes, practice resources, assignments, and revision material with students.
13. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language proficiency and academic performance.
14. Maintain a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment that builds students' confidence in language learning.
15. Participate in scheduled parent-teacher meetings and provide meaningful academic feedback regarding student progress.

Required Qualifications

i. Bachelor's degree in the relevant language, language literature, Education, or a related subject.

ii. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the language being taught.

iii. Strong teaching, explanation, classroom management, and student-engagement skills.

iv. Ability to teach students across different age groups, grade levels, learning abilities, and curricula.

v. Ability to simplify complex language concepts and explain them in an age-appropriate manner.

vi. Prior teaching/tutoring experience across multiple grade levels is preferred.

Technical Requirements

1. Personal laptop/desktop suitable for conducting online classes.
2. Stable and reliable internet connection.
3. Functional webcam and microphone/headset.
4. Comfortable working with digital learning resources, online teaching platforms, and sharing educational materials.
