Job Role: IB Early Years Programme (EYP) Homeroom Teacher / Montessori Trained Teacher (MTT)

Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate, nurturing, and experienced IB EYP Homeroom Teacher to join our school in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education and inquiry-based learning, with an ability to create a stimulating, inclusive, and child-centered classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the schools Early Years and IB philosophy.
- Foster inquiry, exploration, creativity, and problem-solving through play-based learning.
- Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, communication, social, emotional, and motor skills.
- Integrate music, movement, storytelling, art, and sensory experiences into daily learning.
- Integrate the IB Learner Profile and approaches to learning into everyday classroom experiences.
- Encourage childrens independence, confidence, and self-expression.
- Use formative assessment strategies to inform planning and instruction.




- Prepare student progress reports and communicate learning outcomes effectively.
- Share regular feedback with parents regarding student development and achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and programme implementation.

Qualifications and Experience (Essential)

- IB Certification or training as MTT/ NTT is a mandatory requirement
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in relevant subject area.
- Teaching qualification (B.Ed., D.El.Ed., Montessori, ECCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in IB EYP.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood pedagogy.
