Role Overview

n

As a ServiceNow Engineer – ITOM Health, you will work closely with support teams, monitoring-tool owners and business stakeholders to understand ongoing requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.

n

You will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional and process requirements, developing technical requirements, and implementing ServiceNow Event Management capabilities aligned with business and stakeholder expectations.

n

The role requires a strong understanding of core ServiceNow functionality and out-of-the-box features, along with broad IT operations knowledge. You will work in a DevOps mode, covering requirement analysis, solution design, development, deployment and ongoing operation of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Analyse client requirements and product specifications and propose appropriate technical solutions in ServiceNow.
n




- Design and estimate ServiceNow solutions based on business and technical requirements.
n
- Develop or coordinate the development of ServiceNow features in line with platform best practices.
n
- Configure and develop ServiceNow applications to support new functionality, interfaces and modules.
n
- Configure UI components and workflows based on business requirements.
n
- Work within the defined Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) to document and deliver requirements.
n
- Maintain solution designs and technical documentation in line with industry best practices.
n
- Reuse and extend existing implementations while contributing to continuous improvements.
n
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver them within committed timelines.
n
- Maintain professional and goal-oriented communication with client stakeholders.
n
- Support implementation of the latest relevant ServiceNow plugins with minimal disruption to IT operations.
n
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, including product-specific testing and defect resolution.
n
- Ensure configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox and production environments.
n
- Participate in ongoing production support and end-user support.
n
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve defects in applications developed by the ServiceNow team.

Event Management & ITOM Responsibilities

n

- Continuously improve Event Management automation.
n
- Improve and optimize alert correlation.
n
- Oversee event-noise reduction and drive continuous optimization.
n
- Maintain and enhance the ServiceNow Operations Workspace configuration.
n
- Adjust the Operations Workspace / Command Center based on evolving user requirements.
n

Must-Have Skills

n

- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
n
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITOM Health and Event Management.
n
- Deep understanding of core ServiceNow functionality and OOTB features.
n




- Experience in ServiceNow configuration and application development.
n
- Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical ServiceNow solutions.
n
- Strong understanding of UI and workflow configuration.
n
- Experience supporting ServiceNow in production environments.
n
- Strong troubleshooting and defect-resolution skills.
n
- Understanding of DevOps delivery models.
n
- Experience across requirement analysis, design, build, deployment and operation.
n
- Broad understanding of IT operations and mainstream infrastructure technologies.
n
- Strong client communication and stakeholder-management skills.

We are looking for professionals who can take end-to-end ownership of ServiceNow ITOM Health and Event Management solutions.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across development, configuration, production support, platform upgrades and operational optimization, while collaborating closely with client stakeholders, support teams and monitoring-tool owners.

Candidates should also be able to work independently, take ownership of delivery timelines and continuously improve the existing ServiceNow implementation.
