Arka Advisors is looking for a tax professional to join our growing Tax & Regulatory team in Bengaluru (Jayanagar).

n

Role: Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax

n

Location: Bengaluru (Jayanagar)

n

We're looking for someone with strong experience in corporate income-tax compliance, advisory and litigation, who can take ownership of assignments, guide team members and work closely with clients.

n

What you'll work on:

n

n
- Income-tax compliance review, including tax computations, income-tax returns, tax audit schedules and withholding-tax compliances
n
- Corporate tax advisory, including research and preparation of technical opinions
n
- Tax assessments and litigation support, including drafting submissions, appeals and responses to notices
n
- Valuation of shares and businesses
n
- Fundraising assistance, including tax due diligence, transaction structuring and review of transaction documents from a tax perspective
n
- Business restructuring and transaction-related advisory
n
- FEMA and related regulatory matters
n

n

What we're looking for:

n

n




- A qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate taxation
n
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in income-tax compliance, advisory and litigation
n
- Ability to independently manage assignments, review deliverables and coordinate with clients
n
- Strong research, analytical and drafting skills
n
- Ability to guide and mentor junior team members
n
- Exposure to valuations, fundraising or transaction advisory would be an advantage
n
- Prior experience with a CA firm or tax consulting firm preferred
n
