Position: Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

Location: Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, Karnataka (Harohalli Campus)

Experience: 3-5 Years with Mandatory PHD in CSE or related field.

n

Qualifications:

n

- PhD in CSE or closely related discipline (e.g., Cybersecurity, AI/ML, Data Science) – mandatory
n
- Proven research output: ≥ 4 papers in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
n
- Strong academic record at UG and PG levels (First Class preferred).
n

n

- Passionate about teaching and mentoring undergraduates/postgraduates.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Represents a solid potential for growing research, with a publication track record.

Roles & Responsibilities:

n

- Teach core and elective CSE courses at UG & PG levels (e.g.,



Data Structures, Algorithms, ML, Cybersecurity).
n
- Develop course materials: syllabus, lesson plans, labs, assessments.
n
- Mentor students on projects, provide guidance for internships and placements.
n
- Lead or participate in research: publish papers, secure funding, guide PhD/MS scholars.
n
- Support curriculum development aligned with AICTE and UGC standards.
n
- Serve on university committees (admissions, exams, student welfare, etc.).
n
- Engage in consultancy, workshops, and conferences; collaborate with industry; supervise student activities.
n
