The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end category performance, including assortment planning, vendor management, pricing, promotions, marketing and inventory optimization to drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage the assigned category P&L; (sales, margin, growth)
n
- Develop and optimize product assortment based on market trends and customer demand
n
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key suppliers/vendors
n
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms with partners
n
- Plan and execute promotions, discounts, and marketing activities
n
- Monitor inventory levels,



ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing aging/overstock
n
- Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and competition to drive category strategy
n
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, operations) for seamless execution
n
- Track key KPIs like sell-through, margin %, stock cover, and availability
n

What you'll need:

Required Skills -

- 2– 4 years of experience in retail buying/category management/e-commerce
n
- Robust analytical and negotiation skills
n
- Experience with assortment planning and inventory management
n
- Proficiency in Excel/SQL/data analysis tools is a plus
n
- Good understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
n

Preferred Skills -

- Experience in FMCG preferable not required
n
- Familiarity with online marketplaces

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
