Windchill PLM Presales Consultant

Job Summary:

n

We are looking for a Windchill PLM Presales Consultant with strong knowledge of PTC Windchill, PLM processes, and engineering business processes.

n

The candidate should have strong customer-facing and communication skills and be capable of handling requirement gathering, solution presentations, demonstrations, technical discussions, and proposal preparation independently.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Conduct customer meetings and requirement-gathering sessions.
n
- Understand customer engineering, manufacturing, and PLM processes.
n
- Map customer requirements to appropriate Windchill modules and solutions.
n
- Prepare and present customer-specific PLM solutions.
n
- Conduct or coordinate Windchill demonstrations.
n
- Handle technical discussions and clarifications with customers.
n
- Prepare solution approaches, process flows, and high-level architecture.
n
- Support technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, scope definition, and effort estimation.
n
- Coordinate with sales, functional consultants, technical consultants, and project teams.
n
- Support the sales team throughout the pre-sales lifecycle until technical closure.
n

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill and PLM solutions.
n
- Experience in Windchill consulting / solution consulting / presales.
n
- Strong customer handling and communication skills.
n
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
n
- Experience in requirement gathering and solution mapping.
n
- Experience preparing technical proposals and RFP/RFQ responses.
n
- Ability to explain technical solutions in a clear and business-oriented manner.
n
- Solid analytical and stakeholder management skills.
n

Preffered Experience:

n

n
- 4–10 years of experience in PLM, Windchill, or Engineering IT solutions.
n
- 2–3+ years of experience in Windchill functional consulting, solution consulting, or presales is preferred.
n
- Candidates with strong Windchill implementation experience and customer-facing experience can also be considered.
n

n

Educational Qualification:

n

BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

n

Preferred Candidate Profile:

n

Candidates who can understand customer requirements, recommend suitable Windchill solutions, conduct demonstrations and presentations, prepare technical proposals, and independently support presales engagements will be preferred.
