About the Role

We are looking for a Manager Internal Audit who will be responsible for checking and improving the company's financial and operational processes, identifying risks, and ensuring that proper controls are in place.

The person will independently conduct audits across Decorpot and its group companies and report important findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Audits

- Prepare and execute the annual internal audit plan.
- Conduct audits across offices, Experience Centres, factories, stores and group companies.
- Handle audits from start to finish planning, checking documents, testing controls, identifying issues and preparing reports.
- Identify risks, find the root cause of issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Track whether audit issues are resolved on time.

2. Process & Control Audits

Review and improve controls in areas such as:

- Procurement & Payments – vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoices and payments.
- Sales & Collections – billing, refunds, write-offs,



customer payments and commissions.
- Payroll & Employee Expenses – salary, incentives, reimbursements and full & final settlements.
- Factory & Inventory – stock, BOM, GRN, wastage, scrap, physical verification and fixed assets.
- Experience Centres / Stores – collections, operational processes and customer-related controls.
- IT Controls – user access, ERP controls, segregation of duties and master data.

Mandatory:

- CA – Chartered Accountant
- 2–5 years of post-qualification experience
- Minimum 2 years of Internal Audit / Risk Advisory experience

Skills Required

- Strong understanding of Internal Audit, Risk & Controls.
- Good knowledge of financial and operational processes.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- SQL / Power BI / ACL / IDEA or similar tools would be an advantage.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to identify problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong integrity and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable challenging business teams when controls are not followed.
- Willingness to travel when required.
