Job Description: Employee Transport Router

Location: EGL , Bengaluru

Experience Required: 4+ Years

Compensation: 35,000 Net In-Hand per month

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Transport Router to managed optimize daily employee commute operations at o(EGL) office in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of hands-on expertise in automated routing, shift scheduling, cab allocation, and vendor management. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless, safe, and cost-efficient transportation for employees operating in multi-shift BPO/IT environments.

Role & Responsibilities

- Routing & Roster Optimization: Design, generate, and optimize daily pick-up and drop-off routes using Transport Management Systems (TMS) such as MoveInSync, Safetrax, or Routematic.
- Shift Management: Handle roster planning, roster adjustments, employee additions, and last-minute cancellation requests in real time.

- Vendor & Driver Coordination: Assign routes to cabs/drivers, oversee driver compliance, monitor punctuality, and coordinate with vendor supervisors to maintain high service delivery.

- Escort & Safety Compliance: Ensure mandatory security guard/escort deployments for female employees on night shifts, verifying adherence to safety policies.

- Real-time Tracking & Helpdesk Support:



Actively monitor ongoing cab runs using GPS software, resolve route diversions or delays, and answer employee queries via the transport helpdesk.

- Cost & Vehicle Utilization: Optimize cab occupancy to keep operational costs low while adhering to maximum allowable travel time (MATT) limits per employee.
- Reporting: Maintain daily logs of trips, vehicle usage, driver attendance, delay tracking, and fuel/billing reports for monthly audits.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience: Minimum 4 years in corporate employee transport routing, ideally in a rapid-paced BPO/KPO/IT services environment.
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience using automated transport platforms (MoveInSync, Safetrax, Routematic, or similar TMS) and advanced MS Excel skills.

- Geography Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Bengaluru local geography, major routes, traffic patterns, and arterial roads leading to and from EGL.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts to support business operations.
- Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language (Kannada) for smooth coordination.

- Crisis Management: Ability to quickly manage unforeseen situations like vehicle breakdowns, heavy traffic blockades, or last-minute demand surges.
