We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Testing professional with 5+ years of experience in ERP/Workday testing, with strong expertise in Workday Financial Management modules. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing testing activities across Workday Finance implementations, enhancements, integrations, and production releases.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of finance business processes, Workday testing methodologies, defect management, and experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and Workday configuration changes to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing for Workday Finance.
- Test Workday Finance business processes including:

- General Ledger

- Accounts Payable

- Accounts Receivable

- Customer Accounts

- Supplier Accounts
- Banking & Settlement

- Cash Management

- Expenses

- Accounting Center

- Financial Reporting
- Validate end-to-end financial business processes and integrations with third-party applications.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
- Execute positive, negative, boundary, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Validate Workday integrations, including inbound and outbound interfaces, using appropriate testing and reconciliation techniques.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between Workday and upstream/downstream systems.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-management platforms.
- Work closely with Workday Functional Consultants, Finance SMEs, Integration teams, developers, and business users to resolve defects.




- Participate in defect triage meetings and provide regular testing status and risk updates.
- Support Workday releases, feature updates, and regression testing.
- Coordinate and support UAT activities, including test preparation, execution tracking, defect resolution, and sign-off.
- Review test results and provide recommendations for release readiness.
- Maintain testing documentation and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software/ERP testing, preferably with significant Workday experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday Financial Management testing.
- Good understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Experience with SIT, UAT, regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Finance business processes.
- Experience testing Workday integrations and validating data exchanged between systems.
- Experience with defect-management and test-management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or equivalent.
- Ability to create detailed test scenarios and test cases from business and technical requirements.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or other structured SDLC environments.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Skills
- Workday Finance certification or Workday-related training.
- Experience with Workday Financial Management implementations or AMS projects.
- Knowledge of Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and web services from a testing perspective.
- Experience with financial data reconciliation and reporting validation.
- Knowledge of Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, or Adaptive Planning is a plus.
- SQL knowledge for backend/data validation is desirable.
- Experience with automated testing tools or test automation frameworks is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Finance business processes.
- Experience testing Workday integrations and validating data exchanged between systems.
