1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Elevator Maintenance Technician responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and escalators. The candidate should have hands-on experience in elevator maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and breakdown handling to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of elevators and escalators.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance as per company schedules.
- Attend customer complaints and resolve elevator-related technical issues within the required timelines.
- Check and maintain elevator safety devices, control panels, door systems, and other critical components.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
- Maintain service reports, breakdown records, and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor / Engineer for technical issues and escalations.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support elevator availability, reliability,



and customer satisfaction.

1. Required Skills & Competencies

- Hands-on experience in elevator maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of elevator electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of elevator control panels, door operators, sensors, and safety circuits.
- Ability to identify and resolve elevator breakdowns.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, circuits, and testing instruments.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend emergency breakdowns, as required.
- Solid focus on safety, teamwork, and timely service delivery.
