Systems Operations Engineer (OSE)

Shifts: 5:30 AM to 2: 30 PM and 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (rotational)

Location : Hyderabad and Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid

About the Role

We're looking for a Systems Operations Engineer to own the stability, security, and performance of our enterprise Windows Server infrastructure. You'll work across production and non-production environments, partnering with application, database, network, security, and engineering teams to keep business-critical systems running while driving automation and reliability improvements that reduce manual work over time.

What You'll Do

- Manage and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments (AD-integrated, production & non-prod)
- Handle OS upgrades, patching, compliance, and security hardening
- Support server hardware lifecycle and coordinate with infrastructure vendors
- Manage Windows Failover Clustering, high availability, and DR readiness
- Support SAN storage (LUN provisioning, zoning, masking, multipathing) and troubleshoot storage issues
- Apply firmware updates (BIOS, storage adapters) with proper risk/compatibility assessment




- Build automation using PowerShell and tools like Ansible to reduce manual toil
- Implement and use observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, etc.)
- Lead troubleshooting during major incidents; drive root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
- Work within ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes

What You Bring

- Robust Windows Server administration experience, including AD-integrated environments
- Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware, SAN storage, and clustering
- Practical PowerShell scripting; automation tooling experience (Ansible or similar)
- Understanding of SRE/DevOps principles and monitoring/observability platforms
- Solid troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, network, and OS layers
- ITIL process experience (Incident/Change/Problem/Knowledge Management)
- Strong communication skills; ability to coordinate across distributed, cross-functional teams
- 3+ years in Systems Engineering, Systems Operations, or Infrastructure Support (preferred)
