Role Description The WhatsApp Commerce and AI Automation Specialist or Developer is a full time, on-site role based in Gujarat, India. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining WhatsApp-based commerce flows to support product discovery, ordering, and customer engagement for My Interio.store. The specialist will build and optimize AI-powered chatbots and automation workflows that streamline customer interactions, FAQs, lead capture, and order tracking.

Day-to-day tasks include integrating WhatsApp APIs with internal systems, configuring message templates, testing automation journeys, and monitoring performance analytics to improve conversion and user experience.



The role also involves collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to align messaging journeys with business goals and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable automation solutions.

Qualifications

- WhatsApp API integration, conversational flow design, and chatbot development skills for commerce-focused customer journeys.
- Experience with AI automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa, or similar), including intent recognition and NLP-based responses.
- Backend and web development skills such as REST APIs, JSON, and familiarity with languages like JavaScript, Python, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of database handling (SQL or NoSQL) and system integration with CRM, order management, or e-commerce platforms.
- Strong analytical skills for tracking funnel metrics, A/B testing flows, and optimizing automation based on data insights.
- Understanding of secure data handling, user privacy, and compliance related to messaging and customer data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or interior materials domain is an advantage, along with familiarity with Indian customer communication patterns.
