We are looking for experienced Databricks Architects with 12+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms using Databricks Lakehouse Architecture .
? Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a hands-on Databricks Architect, not a purely managerial or governance profile.
The candidate should have proven experience in architecting enterprise Databricks solutions, making technical design decisions, and working hands-on with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Python, and SQL.
Key Responsibilities
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance Databricks Lakehouse platforms
- Architect end-to-end data solutions covering ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics & reporting
- Design batch and real-time/streaming data pipelines
- Define enterprise data architecture, governance, security, and design standards
- Lead Databricks workspace architecture, configuration, optimization, and modernization
• Work with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, Databricks SQL & MLflow
- Drive performance tuning, scalability, cluster management, and cost optimization
- Provide technical leadership to Data Engineering teams
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 12+ years of overall programming/IT experience , including 7+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience with Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, and SQL .
- Databricks Data Engineering Associate or Professional Certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 6–8+ Databricks projects delivered with strong hands-on development experience.
- Working knowledge of at least 2 Cloud ecosystems — AWS, Azure, or GCP — with deep expertise in at least one .
- Deep expertise in Apache Spark / distributed computing , including knowledge of Spark runtime internals .
- Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD practices and production deployments .
- Working knowledge of MLOps concepts and practices.
- Strong and current knowledge across the Databricks product and platform ecosystem .
- Hands-on experience with performance optimization, scalability, and cost optimization in Databricks/Spark environments.
Preferred Skills ⭐ Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Event Hubs, Key Vault

⭐ Cloud migration & modernization
⭐ Data modeling, data quality, metadata & lineage
⭐ AI/ML workloads & MLflow

- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Skilled / Associate

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Other relevant Databricks / Azure Data & Cloud Architecture certifications
