nAbout the Role

n

nWe are looking for a Web Developer who enjoys building things, solving problems and turning ideas into working digital experiences. You will work across websites, landing pages, interactive tools and lightweight digital products for a range of businesses and initiatives.

n

nSome projects will involve improving an existing WordPress website. Others may involve building a new section from a rough reference, creating a campaign landing page, implementing analytics and conversion tracking, or taking an early prototype and making it reliable enough for real users.

n

nWe are looking for a developer who is curious, resourceful and comfortable figuring things out.

n

nWhat You’ll Work On

n

nWebsites & Landing Pages

n

nYou will:

n

n

n
- Build and maintain WordPress websites
n
- Develop new pages and website sections
n
- Build responsive landing pages for campaigns
n
- Work with Elementor and other page-building tools where appropriate
n
- Translate references, wireframes or rough ideas into working pages
n
- Improve websites across desktop, tablet and mobile
n
- Improve website speed, usability and overall performance
n

n

nFront-End Development

n

nYou should be comfortable working with:

n

nHTML , CSS, JavaScript, Responsive layouts, Browser developer tools, Git / GitHub

n

nExperience with frameworks such as React or Next.js is a strong advantage.

n

nDigital Products & Prototypes

n

nWe increasingly experiment with new tools, interactive experiences and lightweight digital products.

nYou may receive an early prototype, partially built application or AI-assisted codebase and be asked to help turn it into something that people can actually use.

n

nThis could involve:

- Improving the interface and responsiveness
n
- Cleaning up or modifying existing code
n
- Fixing bugs
n
- Connecting forms, APIs or external services
n
- Integrating components into an existing website
n




- Improving performance and reliability
n
- Deploying applications or tools
n
- Adding measurement and analytics

nTracking & Analytics

n

nOur websites are built to achieve business outcomes, so measurement is an important part of the role.

nYou should be able to implement and troubleshoot:

nGoogle Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager /Google Ads conversion tracking / Meta Pixel /Form submission tracking / CTA and button tracking / Phone and WhatsApp click tracking / Campaign URLs and UTMs

n

nTechnical Website Fundamentals

n

nYou should also understand the technical basics that affect search visibility and website performance, including:

nPage speed / Mobile usability / Metadata and heading structure / Redirects / XML sitemaps / Indexing / Canonicals / Schema basics / Image optimisation / Core Web Vitals / Google Search Console

nWhat We’re Looking For

nYou should have:

- Strong practical web-development skills
n
- Positive WordPress experience, including experience with user accounts, permissions and logged-in experiences.
n
- Experience building responsive websites and landing pages
n
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
n
- Comfort debugging website and browser issues
n
- Familiarity with Git / GitHub
n
- Experience with analytics and conversion tracking
n
- An understanding of website performance and technical SEO
n
- Strong problem-solving ability
n
- Good attention to detail
n
- Ability to work independently from rough requirements
n
- Curiosity about new technologies and development tools
n
- Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers and non-technical colleagues
