Human Resources (HR) Manager – JD
Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR operations run smoothly, and supporting the organization’s strategic objectives. This role manages recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and HR policy development. The HR Manager acts as a key partner to leadership and a resource for employees.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment & Staffing
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and selection.
Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Coordinate onboarding and ensure a smooth transition for recent hires.
B. Employee Relations
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
Foster a positive workplace culture through open communication and conflict resolution.
Conduct investigations and handle disciplinary processes when required.
C. Performance Management
Manage the performance appraisal process and support managers in goal-setting.
Identify performance gaps and support the development of improvement plans.
Facilitate coaching and feedback initiatives.
D. Policy & Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Develop, review, and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
E. Training & Development
Assess training needs and coordinate learning programs.
Facilitate workshops on HR-related topics (e.g., workplace conduct, leadership, compliance).
Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
F. HR Operations & Administration
Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management.
Manage HR systems, analytics, and reporting.
Track HR metrics (turnover, hiring, training hours, etc.) and present insights to leadership.
G. Organizational Development
Support change management initiatives.
Contribute to employee engagement and retention strategies.
Assist with workforce planning and organizational structure improvements.
3. Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
HR certification (SHRM-CP/PHR) preferred
Experience
5+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and policy management
Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
Technical Skills
Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS platforms
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of labor laws and compliance standards
