About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Science & Technology Delegate to represent the organization

n

within the Indian innovation, research, startup, and technology ecosystem. The role focuses on

n

identifying emerging technologies, fostering strategic partnerships, monitoring market and

n

innovation trends, and supporting business units through technology scouting and external

n

collaborations.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Monitor emerging technologies, innovation trends, and startup ecosystems relevant to strategic objectives.
n
- Build relationships with universities, research institutes, startups, incubators, venture capital firms, and innovation networks.
n
- Scout and evaluate technologies, startups, and potential partners. Facilitate connections between business units and external stakeholders.
n
- Organize innovation workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
n
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
n




- Provide insights on technology developments and market opportunities.
n
- Act as focal point for science, technology, and innovation activities.
n

n

Qualifications / Experience required

n

n
- PhD in science or engineering. or equivalent research experience
n
- Familiar with Indian institutions, culture and R&D;/inmovation ecosystem
n
- Experience with open RLO/innovation in an international context. Experience with scouting or technology intelligence wouldbe a plus.
n
- Experience in at least one of the following industries: oil gas, electricity, renewable energy, mobility services, decarbonization, Broad technical culture, open-minded, quick learner,
n
- Fluent in English and one Indian language. Valuable oral and written communication. French or Chinese will be plus.
n

Preferred Experience

n

Startup ecosystem engagement, research and technology assessment, open innovation programs,

n

industry-academia collaborations, strategic technology road mapping, and innovation portfolio

n

management.
