Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Document Services is responsible for defining, managing, and delivering enterprise document and content management capabilities that support regulated global business operations.

This role drives the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for document services platforms, ensuring compliance, scalability, security, and excellent user experience. The position plays a critical role in enabling digital transformation, operational efficiency, and regulatory readiness .

Key Responsibilities

- Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for enterprise document services and content management platforms aligned with business and IT priorities.
- Partner with business stakeholders, Quality, Regulatory, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into product features and roadmap initiatives.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, prioritization, development, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure document services solutions meet regulatory, compliance, security, records retention, and governance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and service teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-centric solutions.
- Monitor platform performance using KPIs, operational metrics, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and value realization.
- Support organizational change management, training, communications, and adoption initiatives.
- Establish and influence standards, governance models, and best practices for enterprise document and content management services.

Required Qualifications

Education





- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Experience & Skills

Required

ECM/DMS Mandatory

- 12 to 15 years of experience in Product Management, Enterprise Content Management, Document Management Platforms, Technology Services, or Enterprise Applications.
- Proven experience owning and managing complex, business-critical technology products and platforms.
- Strong expertise in:
- OpenText
- Veeva Vault
- SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Purview
- Documentum
- Box
- Other enterprise content management platforms

- Experience with workflow automation and integration of content management solutions with enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of:

- Compliance and validation requirements
- Records management
- Data governance
- Regulatory frameworks within highly regulated industries

- Demonstrated expertise in:

- Product roadmap development
- Product prioritization
- Value-based decision making
- Stakeholder management

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.




- Experience working within Agile, Hybrid, or Product-based delivery models.

Preferred

- Experience supporting document services or content platforms within Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of:
- Cloud-based content services
- Enterprise search technologies
- Collaboration platforms
- Automation solutions

- Experience leading global or regional product initiatives across multiple geographies.
- Experience creating governance frameworks, standards, and operating models for shared enterprise services.
- Professional certifications such as:

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Secure Product Manager/Product Owner
- Other Agile or Product Management certifications

Additional Requirements

- Fluency in English is required.
- Additional language capabilities are a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 10% to 20%, including international travel as business needs require.
