Job Title: Cost Accountant / Senior Cost Executive

• Industry: Manufacturing
• Experience: 5+ years in core manufacturing
• Qualification: CMA (ICMAI) / CA / Inter CMA with relevant experience
• Reporting To: Head of Finance / Plant Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Maintain BOM, routings, machine-hour rates, and costing records in ERP.
• Handle WIP, raw material & finished goods valuation and reconciliation.
• Coordinate cost, statutory, and internal audits, including CRA-1/CRA-3/CRA-4.
• Prepare monthly Plant MIS covering margins, capacity, contribution, idle time, and cost trends.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through scrap, yield, power/fuel, and process analysis.
• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and actual-vs-budget reports.
• Ensure compliance with CAS, Ind AS, and inventory valuation principles.
• Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality, and Audit teams.
• Required skills: SAP B1/equivalent ERP and advanced MS Excel.
