Vertical Head Agency 7+ Years – Raipur

Are you an experienced General Insurance professional with strong expertise in Agency and Retail Broking? We are looking for a Vertical Head – Agency to drive business delivery, manage teams, build agency networks, and achieve sustainable business growth.

Location – Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Responsibilities

- Drive monthly topline, revenue and GWP targets through the Agency vertical.
- Recruit and activate agents through the team and ensure achievement of defined targets.
- Manage and lead a team of Relationship Managers, including training on products, processes and USPs.
- Drive portfolio diversification across Motor, Non-Motor and Health insurance products.
- Ensure sustainable profitability, maintain COR at budgeted levels, and resolve underwriting and policy-related issues at branch level.
- Requirements

- 7+ years of relevant experience in General Insurance, specifically in Agency or Retail Broking.
- Graduate qualification; Insurance graduates preferred.
- Strong experience in agency management, agent recruitment, activation and premium generation.
- Good understanding of GWP, profitability, Combined Ratio and insurance business targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making and interpersonal skills, with valuable Excel knowledge.
