Role Description The Watermeter Production Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production of watermeter devices, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The engineer will monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce defects. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, maintaining documentation, and supporting troubleshooting on the shop floor.



The role also involves working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of materials and alignment with product specifications.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Production Engineering skills, including understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify issues, and drive process improvements.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning skills to manage schedules, resources, and workflow effectively.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to ensure products meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report production status clearly.
- Relevant experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in metering, IoT hardware, or electronics production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and basic safety standards.
