Job Summary The Vulnerability Management Engineer will support day-to-day vulnerability management operations, including vulnerability scanning, findings analysis and validation, remediation tracking, reporting, and coordination with patching and infrastructure teams. The role involves working with enterprise security and vulnerability management technologies including Tenable, Rapid7/InsightVM, Tanium, TruOps, CyberArk, Okta, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and Cyberfusion.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans using Tenable and Rapid7/InsightVM.
- Analyze scan results, validate vulnerabilities, identify false positives, and prioritize findings based on severity and risk.
- Create and track remediation tickets with CVE references, affected assets, risk ratings, and remediation guidance.
- Coordinate with patching and infrastructure teams to support vulnerability remediation using Tanium/Automox.
- Monitor vulnerability ageing, SLA breaches, recurring vulnerabilities, and remediation status.
- Support risk acceptance and exception tracking through TruOps or similar GRC platforms.
- Correlate vulnerability findings with endpoint security data from CrowdStrike and SentinelOne.




- Support vulnerability reviews related to Okta and CyberArk.
- Perform re-scans and validate remediation before vulnerability closure.
- Prepare vulnerability reports, dashboards, scan summaries, and remediation status updates.
- Participate in client/internal vulnerability review calls during US business hours.
- Escalate critical and high-risk vulnerabilities to the Vulnerability Management Lead.

Education
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

Experience & Skills

- 2–5 years of experience in Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, Infrastructure Security, or Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tenable and/or Rapid7 (InsightVM) is highly preferred.
- Valuable understanding of CVEs, CVSS, vulnerability validation, remediation and SLA management.
- Experience working with global/US-based teams is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow/Jira, Excel, Power BI, or security dashboards is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications Security+ | CEH | CySA+ | Tenable | Rapid7 | ITIL or equivalent certifications.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for professionals with hands-on Vulnerability Management experience, particularly in Tenable and/or Rapid7/InsightVM, along with strong exposure to vulnerability validation, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and coordination with infrastructure/security teams.

Immediate Joiners to 15 Days notice period are preferred.
